Description
The Teaching Knowledge Test (TKT) is a test from Cambridge ESOL about teaching English to speakers of other languages. It aims to increase teachers' confidence and enhance job prospects by focusing on the core teaching knowledge needed by teachers of primary, secondary or adult learners, anywhere in the world. This flexible and accessible award will help you to understand:
- different methodologies for teaching
- the language of teaching'
- the ways in which resources can be used
- the key aspects of lesson planning
- classroom management methods for different needs.

Registration:
• Acquire registration form at the Centro Colombo Americano - Reception (first floor), fill it out and hand it in.
• Bring two recent 3x4 photographs with full name written on the back of each.
• Bring ID and show it when handing in the filled out registration form.
• Attach payment receipt
On tests day bring:
• Identification document
• Bring a second identification document that has your picture on it; for this you may bring company or school ID card.
• HB 2 pencil, eraser, and pencil sharpener

• Fill out the registration form and fax it along with payment receipt to (4)5132666.
• Check that fax was received by calling 5134444 extensions 174 – 227.
On test day bring the original form and receipt and all other items mentioned above.
