Standardized English Tests
The Centro Colombo Americano - Medellín has been administering standardized English tests for the past 20 years. We have a data-base created in 1995, with test results of people who have taken tests locally (in Medellín) since 1995, and nationally (Colombia) since 1998. This data-base is systematically updated by all Centro Colombo Americanos in Colombia and other institutions that administer these tests. It has been very effective for users who require information concerning their test results and for detecting frauds.
The administration of standardized English tests seeks to measure proficiency in English, for professional or educational purposes, of people whose native language is not English. These tests can be administered personally or in groups according to needs of those concerned.
MET, TOEFL, TOEIC y C-ORAL are administered at the Centro Colombo Americano – Medellín upon request and can be administered at other institutions provided certain conditions are met. TOEFL, GRE, IELTS are only administered on the dates set by the Educational Testing Service and the British Council, and can only be administered at the Centro Colombo Americano.
